Education: Secondary
Work Experience: 1 year of farm supervisor experience or several years farming experience
Job Duties:
- Co-ordinate and supervise the work of general farm workers and harvesting labourers
- Supervise and oversee growing and other crop-related operations as per our farm requirements
- Develop work schedules and establish/follow company procedures
- Ensure farm safety and bio-security procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain quality control and production records as well as track inventory of crops and input
- Ensure that equipment is maintained regularly and recorded in the log
- May perform general farm duties.
Job Requirements:
- Punctual
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in team setting
- Able to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Equipment operating experience is required
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Able to work long hours as required during peak seasons
- Not allergic to dust and grains
- Overtime may be required
