Job Duties:
Feed and tend poultry
Operate and maintain machinery and equipment
Preform regular maintenance as required and inform management of issues
Detect disease and health problems in poultry
Examine produce for quality and prepare for market
Set and monitor water lines, air flow and temperature in chicken coops
Clean coops as required
Gather eggs and operate egg packer
Maintain records daily and report to supervisor/manager
Other duties as required
Job Requirements:
Punctual
Attention to detail
Able to stand long periods of the day
Willing to work in noisy and smelly conditions
Able to lift 30lbs repeatedly
Mechanically inclined is an asset
Able to work as part of a team and independently
Ability to keep track of records and recordings
