Job description

Job Duties

Preparing, producing, and presenting food items and always ensuring the highest quality.
Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe workspace at all times to avoid contamination.
Monitoring and inspecting all food items received for quality and condition.
Assisting in the training of new kitchen team members.
Ensuring proper equipment operation and maintenance procedures are observed.
Ensuring work assignments and daily tasks are completed daily.
Managing daily kitchen setup and closing as required

Job Requirement

Attention to detail 
Able to work independently and part of a team 
Willing to work flexible schedule, mornings, evenings and weekends 
Fast pace high volume work environment  
Positive disposition 
Able to stand for long periods of time  
Advanced Food Safe Certification and First Aid Certificate is an asset
Fine dining experience is an asset
Able to work in a team environment
Conduct yourself in a professional and responsible manner.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while being detail & task-oriented
Ability to work flexible hours
Good verbal communications skills
Excellent organizational skills
